I coach individuals considering moving from employment to self-employment. Typically, my clients are interested in new challenges, frustrated with their current job or career path, unemployed due to downsizing, and/or considering a career transition. I also work with people who want to develop additional sources of income.

I provide an education-based approach for exploring self-employment and business ownership. My goal is to educate my clients on how to best realize their dream to be self-sufficient and in control of their income, life-style, wealth and equity building potential.

Work history.

Mark Thomas is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience leading world class companies in the technology and manufacturing industries. Mark began his career in a family business where he grew the technology company from $9 million to over $70 million in six years.

Following the sale of the business, Mark served as EVP and CEO of venture capital startups and two successful corporate turn arounds. In addition, Mark has owned and operated two businesses including a power electronics company and a M&A advisory firm.

Mark was born and raised in southern California where he obtained an undergraduate degree in business finance from The University of Southern California and MBA from Pepperdine University.

Today, Mark’s ambition is to give back to aspiring entrepreneurs, CEO’s and business owners through leadership development, mentorship and personal 1 on 1 coaching.

It’s estimated that 75% of the adult population has the desire to be self-sufficient (most are scared to death about owning their own business) only about 5% are ready willing and able to act on that desire. Many don’t ever begin to explore the possibility of making their dreams a reality because of the fear of failure, even when they have been successful at everything they have done in past. I am a Coach specializing in helping my Clients move beyond the fear of change by creating a safe space for them to explore their options and learn about ways to take control of their career, make more money and enjoy the myriad of benefits that come with business ownership.
